How to use
Dictate starts listening straight away and your words appear as you speak. Tap stop – the text (and, on computers, the audio recording) lands on a new card.
Write opens a blank note pad. Everything saves as you type.
Read shows every card. Search, filter, pin, or press and hold a card for quick options.
New notes open on a spiral notepad and your writing sits on the lines. Tap the palette button to switch notepad (legal, sticky, graph and more), colour, font or background – including your own photo.
Tap the sweep icon on a note's title line to tidy it: grammar and punctuation are fixed for you, and words that don't fit (often misheard by dictation) are highlighted with a suggested change. Sweep sends that note's text to a proofreader – nothing is stored.
Notes stay on this device. Use Back up all notes to keep a copy or move to a new phone.
Live speech-to-text works best in Chrome, Edge and Safari. If your browser can't convert speech, NotesNOW still saves the recording.
NotesNOW v2.2.0
Let NotesNOW hear you
To turn your voice into notes, NotesNOW needs the microphone. Your browser will ask next – tap Allow.
Recordings stay on this device. Nothing is uploaded.
Turn on the microphone
As soon as it's on, NotesNOW comes straight back to Dictate.
